A week after the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Konami announced that they were giving some DLC. Now they announce that later this month we will see Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate on PC via Steam. The game was originally released on Nintendo 3DS handheld and set 25 years after the events of the first Lords of Shadow.

Being the middle game in the series, Mirror of Fate tells the story of the descendants of Gabriel Belmont. Include are Trevor and Simon Belmont, who learn their true fate while batting their own destiny. Trevor, who is a knight of the Brotherhood of Light, sets out looking to avenge the death of his mother, who was killed by his own father, Dracula himself. The Prince of Darkness has declared war on the Brotherhood, so the showdown will ultimately be father vs son.

The game takes place over many eras and you get to play various characters, each with their own unique abilities. Combat is very intuitive and by using combo attacks, not much will be in your path that you can't defeat. The graphics will have a HD makeover so that it will look stunning, introducing online leader boards as well as Steam achievements. Finally the complete story of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be told on the PC.
