Coming from an unlikely source, a fairly low key Russian website called GamesManiac, a pretty hefty haul of Thief 4 images has come sidling out of the intrawebs. Well, the above site just lists it as 'Thief Next-Gen' but it's clearly a tad more advanced, graphically, than that game so, y'know. How, exactly, they got ahold of them is a mystery to me, 'cause I don't speak or read (though I know someone who does both and will update if possible) Russian, so even if the details are in the article I can't pass them on at present. It's, of course, still possible they could be phoney, but I highly doubt that. Take a look for yourself. This is going to be one hell of a game whatever it is, that's for sure. So slip your dagger between the ribs of our comments section and leave your mark in its bloody entrails as you disappear into the shadows with your prize.

Update from NAG3LT: GamesManiac haven't mentioned their sources yet and have provided only minimal information about the game. They say that the new Thief game will be officially announced today, that it won't have 4 in the title and that it will be released on PC and next-gen consoles. So it seems that we have to wait to learn more.
