Leaked Assassin's Creed Shows Unity
Since 2009 there has been a new Assassin's Creed game released every autumn (fall in USA) with the latest big release being Black Flag. This year looks to be no different. According to Kotaku an anonymous source sent these leaked images of a new Assassin's Creed title called, or code-named, Unity, which will be set in 18th-century Paris. Apparently the new character will be called Arno.
The screenshots show Unity’s new assassin running around what looks like Paris. You can see Notre Dame, the Seine River, and other major landmarks and these look like there from a very early version of the game. The other big news is that this is only one of two Assassin Creed game out later this year. Though it is all rumours and speculation at the moment, it looks like Unity will be released on Xbox One and PS4, while news of a second game called or code-named Comet which will release on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Hopefully at least one of the games, and preferably both, will make it to the PC as even though they are early shots, they look stunning. Apparently on the NeoGaf forums a few weeks ago, rumours popped up revealing Unity which were later corroborated by Examiner's Nicholas Gigante, who is pretty good with Ubisoft rumours. At this moment in time Ubisoft have refused to comment.
