Launching for Eastern Shores
Today marks the official release date of Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. The first in a three part spin-off series detailing some of the smaller, but integral parts of the Assassin's Creed mythos. Boasting an art style which serves as a perfect fusion between traditional Chinese watercolour and more modern impressionistic themes...it sure talks to the talk. And judging from what we've seen so far, it walks the walk as well.
Offering approximately five hours of content for an extremely agreeable price of £7.99 as well as, more importantly, now being free from the shackles of Assassin's Creed Unity. Originally planned as part of the season pass content for the former, it now stands firm as the debut of a sub-franchise within its own right and I, for one, hope this is not only the first of three. But the first of many.
