Yo jurors! I'm hype so you should be hype! A new fighter has just been announced for upcoming fighting game Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. The DOA series is in my top 3 favorite fighting series of all time. The counter system and interactive stage design does it for me.

That said, the newest fighter to join the roster is a female fighter named Honoka with a ridiculously large set of...moves borrowed from other fighters. Yes, going by the trailer she looks to be similar to Dural from Virtua Fighter, Ogre from Tekken and Seth from Street Fighter IV in that her moveset is a jumble of moves taken from established fighters. You know what...I'm OK with this. I tend to play every character in fighting games instead of sticking to one, so characters that blend moves from several fighters are right up my alley. Not content to have the character simply be a copycat character, Team Ninja is reportedly giving her a stance called the Hissatsu-no-Kamae stance that has moves unique to her.

What say you jurors? Is this knew character enough of reason for you to bounce on over to DOA5: Last Round when it comes out? Or is your library too top heavy with fighters to support this February release? Let us know in the comments.
