I don't know what I was thinking of when I impulsively picked this particular bit of news from the litter, I just...

So yeah, you remember Creative Assembly's rumored game based on the most-unluckiest-but-still-the-most-videogame-adaptable of all licenses - Alien? Well some alleged concept art for the project has leaked into the ever-pervasive clutches of the internet. The scant bits of artwork get Alien's patented green tint right, and that spaceship looks appropriately spooky and derelict (if a bit too Dead Space-y) for the franchise, and a betting man would wager that woman in the cover art would be Ellen Ripley's daughter, who is rumored to be the protagonist of the game.

Why do I sound so dry still, especially given my love for the storied franchise? Well because this isn't the first time a promising looking Alien game has disappointed me to the point of caving my own skull in with a fistful of hammers.

I'm just going to be as dry as possible about this until the game tanks and I can reaffirm my indifference.
