Irrational Games made a blog post today about their upcoming BioShock Infinite game and their past on the PC. "Fifteen years ago, Irrational Games got its start making PC games, and the PC gaming experience has always been near and dear to our hearts." It's been awhile since the first BioShock game came to the PC, and Irrational wants to make sure we get the full use of our game system of choice.

First on their agenda are the controls. All of the key bindings for the game can be changed and have primary and secondary keys running at the same time. If you're one of those people who like to use a controller, especially if you're using Steam's new Big Picture mode, you'll be happy to know that the game will have controller support at launch (you traitor).

You'll also be happy to learn what Irrational has to say next on graphics. "This time around, we've fully embraced widescreen gaming. With our implementation of "horizontal plus" widescreen support, the wider you go, the more you'll see of Columbia's gorgeous vistas. And for the true aficionado, we support multi-monitor gaming with AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA Surround, and Matrox TripleHead2Go."

The game will also support six graphics presets, from "Very Low" to "Ultra." For those higher settings, you'll need DX11 to fully utilize these higher settings. While this may mean for a prettier looking game, they do warn you may not like the three-DVD install, or the long download time if you get it digitally off of services like Steam.
