Frozen Synapse is a great game, as I can attest. A great game that is also getting an iPad release. Why is this relevant? Because it also allows for cross platform multiplayer, so now you can battle your friends and see which platform is superior for tactics and bloody top down chaos!

In Mode 7's video above, developer Paul walks us through this cross play, showing himself planning his moves on the iPad and PC and letting battle commence. Frozen Synapse's online player count seems to be waning in recent months, hopefully this will reinvigorate it (which is great and extremely intense by the way). As for the iPad version, it isn't cut down, this is the real deal. You can do everything you can on the PC version on the tablet version, a game like this looks to be well suited to a touch interface.
