One of the more interesting games set to come out in 2013, BioShock Infinite, has got a very interesting trailer to go with it. Filmed in the style of an investigative documentary, 'Truth From Legend' tells the story of Bioshock Infinite's setting: the flying city of Columbia.

Played completely straight, I recommend you watch the trailer above before reading on. Narrated by 'Alistar Bloom', this collection of old black and white images and gameplay rendered to look like old timey footage really is quite remarkable, managing to explain the story of the flying city and put forward a great mystery to the player. It tells that the flying city was shown off in 1893 at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago (a real life event, flying cities aside) and goes on to explain how Columbia seceded from the Union, abandoning America and disappearing into the clouds.

This trailer is all a very clever way of tying BioShock's universe and mythology together, in preparation for the game's March release. Hopefully they'll be more to this trailer, maybe a part two?
