Indiana Jones Meets *Insert 80s Action hero*
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was nothing if not a loveletter to 1980s sci-fi action movies. A successful one. Publisher 505 Games and developer ZootFly seem to see an opening here, as Blood Dragon is per today one of the few such loveletters to the bygone era of the 80s. Introducing, Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death!
Bad villains, worse one-liners - Marlow Briggs has it all! The character himself is supposedly a "no-nonsense hero", who "never shies away from danger or trouble. He now faces his ultimate challenge when he blasts into Central America to defeat an industrial evil and rescue his kidnapped girlfriend, all while bound to a talking Mayan death mask who has been lonely for 2000 years."
Yep. But what exactly is this game? 505 have you covered in the press release announcing the game.
"Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death is a third person, hack and slash fest. It is perfect for the player who wants to experience a game that brings to life the feel of blockbuster films, over-the-top action and cinematic gameplay with a focus on relentless high-octane combat and danger filled exotic environments."
Though developer ZootFly don't have the shiniest track record in the universe, publisher 505 Games have been pumping out some satisfyingly unique and high quality games recently, like Starbreeze's Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Overkill Software's Payday 2. We can hopefully expect to see the same amount of ambition and quality in this upcoming arcade title, which is to be released on Steam very soon, at a retail price of $15.

I'm pretty sure Dogtanian's comment was also rather silly

I think the point of the story is to be silly. :P

I tell you all these storylines involving the main character girlfriend being kidnapped I mean seriously. I would just let them have her and tell them when you had enough give her back lol ;)

He's not an 80s action hero. He's Indiana Jones. He's an entire genre of character all on his own.
