In the Land of Mordor Where the Gameplays Lie

By Bobfish27-01-2014

Ask and yes shall receive noble sir. Temper your skepticism, something downright fucking amazing this way comes. Colour me a trusting fool, but I think Monolith just might have pulled it off. Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system, in all its glory, awaits within.

We've all made that mistake before, of hearing about something, or even seeing it in action, and buying in to the hype. Shadow of Mordor has already had a not insignificant amount of hype building up around it. The Nemesis system, in particular, has intrigued, and guardedly excited, many a canny gamer. So, of course, 'tis high time we saw it in action. Your wish, as they say, is my command.

Almost nine minutes of it. Though a lot of the actual gameplay is more, well, gameplay...ey. Showing a number of similarities to another franchise everyone and their uncle is familiar with, but not to the point of being derivative. The combat system, though similar, seems to flow a lot more naturally, and realistically, And those Wraith powers...well, just see for yourself guys. The only thing left to say is please, Monolith, please, we're begging you. Just don't fuck this up.
