Bethesda have released the first in a series of new cinematic style gameplay trailers for impending horror, The Evil Within. The trailer begins with that familiar opening sequence where you have to swing for survival and run from a chainsaw wielding mad man. This trailer also further stresses the survival aspect of this horror, calling ammo and weapons a "luxury" and showing us the necessity of stealth. We're shown that players will need to keep their wits about them and that they'll need to make every last bullet count. You can't just run and gun your way to safety. Though, speaking of safety, we do now have a glimpse of a safe haven for players called The Asylum. Here players can upgrade Sebastian's weapons and abilities. The Evil Within releases on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on October 14th in Europe and North America. Well, I know how I'll be spending my Halloween.
