We've previously covered news on Heavy Gear Assault, the Mech Game seeking its funding from the lovers of the Genre, which promises Arena Style Battles with Giant Mechs (I'm imagining Robot Thunderdome at this point). Well they've released their second trailer, which gives us a little bit of the lore behind the long-running series, and shows off some sweet looking robots with some amazing paint jobs.

The Developers - a mixture of Stompy Bot Productions, Dream Pod 9, and MekTek Studios - have asked for $900,000 to make the game, of which they have just over $100,000 at time of writing. It's currently unknown if they're planning a Kickstarter campaign to bolster their own fundraising efforts, but we'll let you know as soon as we do. In the meantime, you can donate directly here.
