Hearthfire Launches on PC

Skyrim's Hearthfire, the house building DLC, has quietly snuck onto Steam - priced at £3.49. Offering players the chance to build, design and customise their own homes.

"With this official add-on to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up - from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings. Even transform your house into a home by adopting children."

Considering the availability of free mods on the PC which do the same thing, will you be picking this DLC up? I am tempted, as this release will no doubt be more polished and bug free compared to the free versions. Still, seems like they should have just released Hearthfire itself for free.

Well, since 1C is the publisher here, where i live, nor you can buy Skyrim nor its DLC on steam. Dawguard just came out as retail, and i guess Hearthfire wont be out here since its such a little mod. :/
