The Dentist Wants His Payday Two

The amount of post-launch content provided for Payday 2 has gone from "lacking" via "eh" to "alright that's pretty good" over the past few months. Hell, in the past few weeks we've seen the release of a free - and supposedly stealth-only - heist, and a huge patch that recombobulated something in the something-something system of the game to magically reduced the game's total file size down from 26-ish gigabytes to around 7.

But Swedish Cop-killing enthusiasts Overkill Software aren't nearly done yet. In a brilliant, genuinely tense new trailer featuring a certain actor prominently featured throughout a certain award winning TV-series, a new character is teased. Not a playable character, mind you. This is another contact; a mission provider. The dentist. Why is he called that? Well, because he's a dentist. But he also dabbles in other things. Like grand robbery.

With him, of course, come more heists. The first of which is the 'The Big Bank' job releasing on June 17th. But three more will be released as the year moves forward. 'Hoxton Breakout', 'THE Diamond', and 'Golden Grin Casino'. While most new weapons have come through paid DLC, the majority of new heists have been free. It stands to reason that the Dentist will continue the tradition, and clean your teeth out without asking anything in return.

We'll keep you posted as more details on these DLCs surface.

Does this mean we'll be getting larger heists with more players? Maybe even a crooks versus police competitive mode? That would be pretty ossum akshully
