Gunpoint’s Sweet Electro-Hacking Gadgetry
We’ve talked before about Gunpoint. It’s a game with a compelling concept, you’re a freelance spy breaking into buildings to steal secrets. To accomplish your missions you’re given access to a number of gadgetry, as to be expected of any spy worth his salt. The difference this time is that these gadgets, aside from the usual cling to walls and such, allow you to hack into the electrical circuitry of the building, and rewire objects, causing doors to be operated by light switches, the guns carried by guards to shoot prematurely (or not shoot at all), and many other wonderfully awesome things.
There’s no set release date yet, the game blog mentioned the developer is testing the pre-made levels, so it should be soon, but the other exciting news is that it’ll be available on Steam! Anyway, check out the trailer, and let us know if you’re as excited about this as I am (spoiler, you probably aren’t).

It reminds me of Art of Theft to a degree.

This sort of reminds me of Nightshade for the NES. Anyone else?
I really like the look of this game's mechanics. Can't wait to get it on Steam.
