Greenlight Finally Adds New Titles

Valve have announced that 21 new games are making it to Steam, after passing the Greenlight process. Some of which include: Octodad, Postal 2, The Stanley Parable and Blockscape.

The full list is as follows:

Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition
AirBuccaneers
Blockscape
Contrast
Fly'n
Folk Tale
Forge
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Project Giana)
Gnomoria
Interstellar Marines
Lost Story: The Last Days of Earth
Miasmata
Miner Wars 2081
Neotokyo
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Perpetuum
Postal 2 Complete
Secrets of Grindea
The Intruder
The Stanley Parable: HD Remix
Yogventures!

21 whole games are making their way to Steam, this is the second round of approved games since last month saw 10 greenlit games. Despite 30 games having successfully gotten through Greenlight, only 1 has been released - McPixel. That fact coupled with the slow update of new Greenlit games in itself, indicates that things are still moving pretty slow, when the whole point was to speed up game publishing across Steam - based on the communities wishes.

There is also a contentious issue brewing, where the source engine game Faceless (previously titled The Operator and Slender: Source), has still not been greenlit. Despite being one of the most highly ranked games percentage wise (before Valve did away with that system) and having almost 10,000 comments on its page. A far higher figure than most other games. Hopefully it will be Greenlit soon, but I do wish the whole system was more transparent.
