Grand Theft Auto...For Kids?
It has been a while since I did a weird, Sunday story. My last one was a little too serious, and I thought I was getting boring. Well thankfully, normality has been resumed and I am covering Grand Theft Auto for Kids. No, Rockstar games have not lost their mind and decided to aim their 18-rated game to youngsters, but a short video has been created by Nacho Punch.
This parody of GTA is quite funny, and it is done like some teaching video what's for learning kids new stuff. Trevor is here, and he is talking like a teacher who is giving a lesson about what a Glock is? And then he asks what would be useful to get to a destination quickly? And I am pretty sure you can all work out what happens next. I'm pretty sure we are all smarter than a 10 year old, right? Then it moves on to a drug deal, except this substance is 100% pure Columbian sugar, and not the usual white powder.
The video ends with a clear message that sugar abuse is illegal, and if you have a wanted level of 3 stars, then the punishment is quite severe. I particularly liked the way the swear words were handled, and I could just imagine Trevor saying "Oh biscuits, I'm going to be late" before hi-jacking a car. My only disappointment is that I would have liked some Itchy and Scratchy style violence, as that would have been the icing on the cake. Remember kids, GTA is for mature adults only, as it could have some influence on behaviour, but not me as I am mature and only run down pedestrians in real life, after playing GTA V.
