Facepunch Studios, the developer of Garry's Mod have released a footage showing the upcoming graphical improvements. Those are namely the addition of the character's arms, torso and legs and other perspective tweaks. The material is a free run through City 17, displaying various actions in the new point of view.

The changes are supposed to allow the game to be played on the Oculus Rift, the upcoming Virtual Reality controller created by Palmer Luckey. The whole thing looks interesting and Facepunch promises further improvements.

While not entirely sure about the future of Oculus Rift, I find the material really promising. Who knows, maybe we are witnessing a start of a new era in gaming...
