The latest video to come out of Ghost Recon Wildlands, which can be seen above, talks authenticity. Apparently the developers have gone to quite a bit of trouble to get their setting right, going far beyond the usual of talking to a couple of military contacts. In the video they say they went so far as to talk to smugglers and other US government agencies to gather information about the setting.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open-world Ghost Recon game set in South America with the team of Ghosts taking on drug cartels with tactics of the players choice. Stay tuned for more info as we get it.
