Ghost Human Recon Target

By Bobfish23-09-2013

Ubisoft's upcoming Ghost Recon movie (did we mention they're making a Ghost Recon movie? No? Well they're making a Ghost Recon movie) has snapped up the writing talent of Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia. Who are they you ask? Well they wrote the Human Target TV series. What's that you ask? Well, it was an adaptation of a comic book series that nobody really seemed to care about. So...that bodes well. But wait, it gets better. They have Michael Bay on board too! Well doesn't this just sound like teh besterest film evah?!

Yeah, I'm unconvinced too.

To be fair, what little I've seen of Human Target was actually pretty decent. And it did receive enough attention to make a second season, though there are a combined total of twenty-five episodes, which is a fairly small number for an American TV series. But I guess only time will tell how it all turns out. Honestly though, I wouldn't expect too much from it. Though considering the quality of the Assassin's Creed short films, I wouldn't write it all off just yet.

I hope it does, as I think it will be fun to see a movie based on Ghost Recon.

I'm not counting on it seeing the light of day knowing how most game-movie adaptions just end up being unfinished dreams.
