Get GOTY, but Don't Go All Definitive On Us Please
If you're one of those who felt a bit overwhelmed by Tomb Raider's 20 billion tiny little money-grubbing DLC skin and weapon packs, and opted to not buy any of them at all, you'll be happy to hear that the Game of the Year edition of the game has been confirmed for PC.
What does it include, you ask? Well Square Enix are too good to tell us outright, but judging from the common trend, it's pretty safe to venture a guess that it's mostly about coupling the post-launch DLCs with the game to sell it all over again. Now, that might sound like a great deal to console gamers, but those who are familiar with Steam and its many sales might scratch their head at this trend. Surely, you could've gotten the game and all of its DLC at a much lower price than $30 already. But oh well. 'Tis the way of the industry, I suppose.
Though it's doubtful we'll also see the new features found in the Definitive Edition of the game - released for "next"-gen consoles - one can always dream.
While the old consoles have already gotten their GOTY treatment, the PC version is set to release...actually it just did. That was sudden.

Nope, because that'd be too much work. Besides, let's face it. The PC version IS the definitive version already.
