Geralt Returns February 2015

In an open letter from CD Projekt Red, the developers behind the masterful Witcher franchise it is revealed that the third instalment in the critically acclaimed series will not be making its way out to the public this year. Instead, the aim is to get the game out in February next year.
"We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us. Consequently, we have set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015."
They go on to speak directly to both the gamers and shareholders, in an attempt to reassure us all that quality is vital to them, and that they appreciate our patience and so on.
I think, when it comes to videogames, it has long since been established that slight delays are more or less always good for everyone. And I think that, especially in a case like this, we can safely rest assured that the game the developers eventually do release, will be exactly the one they wanted to make.
And so, the wait begins.
