At GDC, Epic have released their new Unreal Engine 4 for the general population. While some development studios have already licensed it, now the engine available to everybody. The terms of licensing are quite simple – $19 per month and 5% royalties from game gross revenue. For this price, Epic provides all the tools for UE4 as well as the complete source code for the engine. UE4 has many promising features and powerful developer tools. It will be interesting to see Unreal Engine 4 is as popular as its predecessor.
