If you need any incentive to stay away...have a look at the new screenshots. Judging from the previously released teaser video, and now the screenshots, this does look a lot closer to the orignal. You know, the good one?

Speaking of which, the team behind the first game have also resurfaced recently. For those who don't know, they are now working on a most interesting game called Betrayer. An absolutely superb game featuring a striking black and white art style that only further enhances the atmosphere they single handedly made the trademark of the F.E.A.R franchise. At least before Project Origin came along and killed it all. F.E.A.R Online, at least, shows the promise of brining that back. And now we have the opportunity to find out for ourselves. So expect previews of both that and Betrayer in the near future.
