Gallia est Omnis Divisa in Partes Tres
Or for those of you who do not speak Latin (or cannot be bothered to use google to translate) All Gaul is divided into three parts, the opening words to Gaius Julius Caesar's 'Notebooks about the Gallic Wars'. Wars which you can now live for yourself in Rome 2 with the newly released Caesar in Gaul campaign pack. Featuring a tighter scope and timeline than the base game being set entirely within the time and locations of the Gallic Wars, Caesar in Gaul features two week turn lengths, the return of seasons and their different effects, three new Barbarian factions and a range of different troops that also cross over to the base campaign.
Rome 2 has had it's issues with a number of different things requiring patches, and the Total War series in general has had some problems with historical accuracy at times, but I'm geniunely excited about this update, especially when Creative Assembly claims that they've based it on Caesar's writings about the campaign. Ultimately, however, for Creative Assembly Alea iacta est, and only time will tell whether their efforts are worth buying.

Good stuff! Now all we need is A FUCKING GAME THAT WORKS! After Patch 8, the gmae crashes on startup. And I'm far from alone about it.
Good work, Creative Assembly! Another nail in the coffin! It's getting a little crowded though, I'm finding it hard to put any more nails down at all.

Will it have an unconquerable Gaul village using the magical potion?
