Stardock has released a new update to Gal Civ III, 1.3 that brings a few new and very handy changes and also announced a new DLC as well.

The new update gives us a new rally point interface, planetary governors and improved management system for your fleet and each ship, as well as announcing their new DLC “Revenge of the Snathi” a race that was locked away on a prison world that has now escaped and want to reclaim what they had before their downfall, along with a new ability “scavenge” for the Snathi that allows them to take over derelict ships for their own force.

The DLC comes with ship parts, a campaign, the aforementioned ability and is out now for $4.99 on Steam.
