Former People Can Fly Employees Set up New Studio

Some of the key creatives at People Can Fly, the studio responsible for Bulletstorm, have started up a new studio, known as The Astronauts.

Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski, and Michal Kosieradzki all left People Can Fly, when it was finally bought out by Epic Games earlier this year. Now, a few months on, they have set themselves up a brand new studio. Don't think that their relationship with Epic is any worse though, in fact they have agreed a licensing deal which will allow their new studio to use the Unreal Engine for the future games.

Considering these were the guys behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm, you could take a wild guess that they are working on another FPS, but that may not be the case. Chmielarz has previously spoken about his wish not to be forced into one genre, so we could see something new entirely from these guys.

That is a TERRIBLE name for a game studios, not gonna lie.

However, I LOVE People Can Fly, everything they make is pure gold. From Painkiller to Bulletstorm. So I am definitely interested to see waht they come up with.
