Well, well, well. My (personal) favourite publisher have now announced a partnership with Deck13, of Lords of the Fallen fame. Announcing a new, dystopian sci-fi RPG. Details are extremely sketchy at this point, but both companies have shown themselves to be of a certain...they just have something about them, I think we can all agree.

Judging from the solitary promo image we have thus far...okay, gotta' be honest, there's nothing particularly striking about it. It's a pretty standard grimdark teaser kind of image, and it could easily be taken for something from a new Call of Duty or...just about any shooter in the universe. But it's not a shooter, and it's promising "innovative combat mechanics and an original character progression system based on modular upgrades gained through tight, visceral combat.," which doesn't seem to be too much of a brag considering how well Lords of the Fallen turned out.

Currently, the as yet unnamed game is planned to be released across the PC, Xbone and PlayStation 4, and slated for a sometime in 2017 release. Details will be more forthcoming at and, also as yet undefined, time in the future. But with E3 right around the corner, I wouldn't be surprised if we see at least some basic details before the end of next week.

Either way, keep your eyes peeled, because I'm going to be watching this closely.
