First Glimpse into Space Noir Gameplay Doesn’t Disappoint
In a new video, N-Fusion team members Joe Parisi and Carissa Isolano (Space Noir’s sound and art directors) show off the game’s combat engine by playing through an entire game mission. In case you hadn’t heard, Space Noir is a 3D space shooter which draws inspiration from the likes of Rogue Squadron, Star Fox and Wing Commander.
For an early demo, the gameplay looks awesome—from the game environments and ships, to the camera work and ship movement. While the quality of the game’s narrative remains to be seen this early in development, the explosions and thrilling heroics seem to be falling together quite nicely. But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself!
“In Space Noir, players take on the role of bounty hunter Hal Markham as he explores space, fights in white-knuckle combat both on- and off-world and captures intergalactic renegades with the help of his only companion, his ship's AI - Rhonda. Players journey across five worlds and play through over 35 intense missions, as Hal uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy and a mysterious person who could control the future of humanity.”
