Fancy an open-world RPG bigger and more detailed than Skyrim, mixed with the frenetic madness of combat from The Witcher? Well, apparently that's going to be the case for the upcoming sequel in the Witcher series - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It boasts a world filled with "monster hunting", a welcome return to the game's witching roots, and the expected story filled with politics and intrigue.
The rest of the preview may be read at Game Informer, including a quick trailer showcasing the developers talking about the game, but the message is fairly clear - the next game in the series is going to be a heavy hitter, no questions about it. It is due out in 2014, on "all high-end platforms available".

They could honestly let me pre-order this on GOG now and I would. Anyway, I am very happy that they're ending this on the third game and not continuing it because, if the first two Witcher games have proved anything to me, it's that CD Projekt RED know how to make some really maturely themed games and Cyberpunk 2077's a game I'm really looking forward as someone curious to see their full potential in different settings.
