Final Fantasy Type-0 Coming to PC Soon

Final Fantasy is no stranger to PC these days but it might be a surprise to learn just how soon we're getting Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on our beloved desktop boxes – August 18th is the day. In addition to the HD remaster and translation to other languages we'll also be getting an improved in-game battle camera, Steam achievements and cards, scalable motion blur (YES!), controller support and support for different resolutions. Also included will be increased blood levels and new character speed boosts – but that probably means nothing to those who haven't played the game already.
Type-0 is a departure from the traditional turn based battle style, you play a group of students at an academy for soldiers who each have unique abilities, equipment and personalities who you can switch between at will in real-time battles presented in a more traditional action game style. You won't be spending your time in the classroom however, instead you'll be learning your tactics and mastering your skills out in actual battles against enemies ranging from standard human soldiers to towering monsters and mechs.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is on Steam for £17.99 at the time of writing.

This is actually sounding better every time I hear about it. An example of an HD remaster done right methinks
