February Cry
Pack your socks kid, we're going on an explosive journey. Far Cry Classic, a revamped and sexy new take on the original classic, is coming our way on February 21st. Along with the rest of the Far Cry franchise in The Wild Expedition compilation. It even contains Blood Dragon, which is pretty sweet. For a grand total of £24.99, you can have the entire series all in one place. That is most certainly nothing to scoff at. For less than the price of one, full, retail game, you can get three and a smaller spin-off. Most certainly a better lovestory than Twilight.
To celebrate, Ubisoft are coming at us with a trailer showing off some of the improvements made to the first game and, I have to say, it does look pretty darn spiffy. On the other hand, this is a trailer showcasing the console (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) release, on which it will be made available as a standalone. Why it's only the consoles getting this...because Ubisoft. But still, at least we're not being left out completely. It's still coming as part of the compilation, don't worry. Which should alleviate concerns raised by some people that it would be...difficult to get running on modern machines.
All in all, not a bad little bit of kit.
