Joyous news for all of us. Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 will now be available on the UK Steam store. Having been mysteriously absent from the service until now, Ubisoft’s boycott lifted just in time for the Christmas season.
In addition, Far Cry 3 has received a new patch allowing for HUD customisation, something the community has been asking for quite strongly. As seen on Kotaku, Ubisoft said that:
“Based on feedback from both press and fans, the Far Cry 3 production team is working on a patch that will allow you to toggle most HUD/UI elements based on player preference. The patch will also avoid issues encountered in the .dll hack that might create a mission walkthrough break (missing QTE prompts, critical information, etc).”
So now, will both Stabby Stabby and Far Cry 3 be making it into you Christmas shopping list or have you already delved into both?

Friends have told me that in some regions these titles were already on their Steam, but not sure. On my region (UK) it just showed up finally along with this news post.
