What is Falskaar for Skyrim? Sounds like some DLC that Bethesda would be releasing. It's got professional voice acting composed of 30 volunteer voice actors, a whole new continent about 1/3 the size of Skyrim, with 9 storyline quests, and 17 sidequests. Sounds legit DLC right? WRONG! This wasn't made by a team of professional Bethesda developers and designers...it was done by a 19 year old.

His name is Alexander J. Velicky, and the mod took him over 2,000 hours' worth of effort to complete. Velicky wanted to do this project because he dreams of having a job at Bethesda.

"The best way to show Bethesda Game Studios that I want a job there and should be hired is to create content that meets the standards of their incredible development team."

From the above video it looks like he did just that. The voice acting isn't on par with Bethesda, however it is far superior to that of many mods out there. Even the fact that he took on such a colossal task is amazing. I myself have been looking for more content to add to Skyrim in the Steam Workshop, but it has been all for naught. The mods were either too short, didn't have great rewards, or were just done too poorly. Falskaar on the other hand looks quite promising.
