As the Dropkick Murphy's sang, "Fallout is shipping up to Boston". Actually I don't think they meant the Fallout series, but that's the rumour we've been hearing of the franchise's next setting.

A reddit post gives some details, with an anonymous poster making links to M.I.T and Bethesda's close connection there. Namely, researching the area for Fallout 4. Of course this is nothing official, but I'll be damned if anonymous Reddit tips haven't proved accurate before.

If this does turn out to be the next setting, I for one couldn't be happier. Then again, any Fallout 4 is good news. Preferably on a new engine!
