Exit, Stage West
After gaining a significant amount of media attention over the last 2 years, Jason West, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment (and Infinity Ward), has left Respawn according to sources close to the studio, due to "family issues". The same source say the studio's other co-founder, Vince Zampella is now at the reigns.
For those unfamiliar with West and Zampella, they made waves across the internet following their forced exit from Infinity Ward, to found Respawn Entertainment, and in doing so took nearly 40 Infinity Ward employees with them. Following their exit ensued multiple lawsuits between the pair and Activision regarding their dismissal, conspiracies regarding their employment under EA, and disputed claimed ownership to the Modern Warfare franchise.
While very little has emerged about what Respawn has been working on, they are set to reveal a first-person shooter at E3 in June, one founder weaker.
