Ex Valve VR Specialist Joins Oculus Rift Team

It seems that people laid off at Valve don't have problems with finding new jobs fitting their speciality. This time we hear about one of the people who worked on VR at Valve – Tom Forsyth, has now joined the Oculus Rift team. He will be working on an SDK for developers, ensuring that the development for OR is as efficient as possible. In his own words:
"The Rift is a great bit of kit and combines a bunch of different technology together in a very clever package. It was amazing working with it on Team Fortress 2 and seeing the extra immersion people felt inside a game they already knew so well. I'm really looking forward to helping other developers work with this tech as we go towards a consumer version."
It is nice to hear both that people laid off from Valve find new jobs and that Oculus Rift is getting better and better.

It is no coincidence, while at Valve, he was adding OR support to Valve titles.

Half-Life 2 on the Oculus, and ex-Valve staff on the team.
I don't believe in coincidence
