Yo jurors! Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games are determined to continue supporting Evolve with new content! ...And by “support” I mean monetizing it to death with DLC in between free releases of new modes and maps.

As it stands, Evolve already has in the ballpark of $160 of DLC but that story has been done to death. Here comes some more DLC in the form of the second hunting season pass for the game! Like the prior pass, this one will also include four new hunters. Unlike the last hunting pass this one will also include a new monster and a skin pack as well.

The entire pack, or just the first new hunter if you want, will be available on June 23rd.

I gave Evolve an absolutely positive review as I felt, and still feel, that the core game is great fun and technically polished. However, a few months since launch and I’m not enjoying the monetization strategy. I’m told that if you purchased the Monster Race Edition of the game, two of the hunters from this season pass will be given to you for free along with the monster. The others you will have to purchase. However, there seems to be some conflicting info on this so take it with a grain of salt. Ugggh, all this product fragmentation.
