The developers at Polish outfit Farm 51, the studio who made Deadfall Adventures, which also consists of people responsible for the original Painkiller, have shown off their new shooter called - Get Even, which is due out on “next-gen” consoles and of course the PC next year.
The game will apparently try to bridge the gaping hole that currently exists between multiplayer and single player shooters and will carry out that daunting task while also featuring “ambitious new dynamic and photorealistic graphics". The visuals sure are pretty though, especially those textures...so touchable-looking!
The developers at The Farm 51 explain exactly how they plan on blurring the single and multiplayer lines into a cohesive level of fineness:
"When players embark on a single-player mission, others on the network can join the quest as enemies, so players never know whether their opponents are human or CPU-based. This suspense further heightens the player's feeling of a threat."
Sounds very Dark Souls-ish but is that really a bad thing?
