Those rascals that developed Endless Space have released another free update to the game. Light of Polaris add, among other things, a new hero and new wonder, Steam achievements and so forth. The best things, in my mind, are the option to play the game without pirates and the ability to set battle actions even for the automated battles (saves time when your scout ship has to escape from the advancing enemy horde).

So, merry Christmas, may Santa not leave a full sock of Dust on your fireplace!
