EA Allegedly Refuses Refunds for SimCity

Oh boy. Things seem to be going from bad to worse for EA, as yet another PR fiasco hits it hard in the gut. This time, it seems that just after yesterday's announcement that refunds would be allowed for SimCity buyers unsatisfied with the horrible launch, EA has gone back on their words and are trying to weasel their way out of losing even more money. Check out this notable element from a conversation with EA support below:
you: Why can Amazon users get refunds but I can't?
Adrian: That is understandable, but I must inform you that if you choose to dispute it, your account will be banned.
Yeah. Talk about bad PR. It seems EA has now managed to cement its role as the most hated company in the games industry, and for once, I have nothing to say in its defence.

I used to give a lot of love for EA just because of their support. They used to be great.

Quality of Origin support is often simply awful. The support reps that simply suck, but don't understand that are the worst.
