E3: ShadowPlay Launcing June 25th
ShadowPlay is Nvidia's game recorder that will use hardware h.264 encoder in Kepler GPUs to compress the footage on the fly with minimal performance impact. Together with small file size this allows to run the recording constantly in the background and save last interesting 20 minutes (or less depending on user preferences) with a hotkey press. At E3 Nvidia has announced the release date for the feature – June 25th, it will be supported on GTX 650 and higher GeForce cards.
