Players have long been clamoring for a proper GTA V release, from hints in the PS3 code to simply being able to forget about the rather unoptimized port that GTA IV ended up being. With a new trailer showing off some of what has been possible in the game since last fall, Rockstar have finally announced their open-world monstrosity for modern consoles and the PC platform. Though no release date has yet been locked down, people are purportedly able to pre-order the game, though I appear to be unable to at major online American retailers...yet. Nevertheless, the game is coming, and not without due fanfare.
