E3: Deadfall Adventures 20 Minutes Of Gameplay
Though many gamers and journalists tend to focus a lot on the big titles from the major publishers during events such as E3, there's also a ton of other games announced, promoted and demoed. One of the games shown off is Deadfall Adventures, a game that can most easily be summed up as a sort of "first person Uncharted". The player embodies the role of a 1930s treasure hunter who finds his calling in killing baddies and, well, hunting treasure.
The demo shown is reportedly set late in the game, as the hero plunders Mayan temples, while killing off soldiers and ancient mummies. In between, there're maps to read, puzzles to solve, treasures to find, skills to upgrade and more enemies to kill.
As we have mentioned previously, Deadfall Adventures was recently pushed back to be released September 27th, due to it needing more polish. While we reported that there will be a Co-Op mode in the game - something Steam confirms, Reinhard Pollice and Martin Kreuch at publisher/co-developer Nordic Games claim the only multiplayer component included in the game will be a competitive one. We'll update you on this contradiction as soon as we know more. For now, sit back and relax while you enjoy the gameplay shown from Deadfall Adventures.

The pictures from the announcement seem to suggest otherwise. Particularly the one with the two dudes looking all reflective beneath that crashed aeroplane

Might be. But if that's the case, then the Co-Op mode won't be integrated to the game, and will instead just be a tacked-on "horde mode" type thing.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, this was recorded before the announcement of the delay. Maybe the decision to add co-op only came up post E3 and the two just crossed in the post, as they say?
