Bethesda have released a trailer for their upcoming 'Dragonborn' expansion, for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We previously mentioned the teaser image posted a few days ago, now we have details and, most importantly, footage!

There's a lot to take in from the trailer, which features amongst other things: the ability to ride dragons, a possible new villain antagonist who is also a Dragonborn, a return to Solstheim (last featured in Bloodmoon, the Morrowind expansion), as well as new weapons and armour. It's a big'un.

Best of all, for me at least, the trailer shows off some of the architecture and environments which made Morrowind so unique, that of the Dunmer. This expansion looks to be sprawling, comprising of worthy new additions and plenty more Skyrim flavoured goodness.

It will be available on the Xbox 360 on 4th December, sadly no word yet on a PC release date.
