Dragon Age Inquisition – The Trespasser DLC
The above trailer certainly does a good job of making the Trespasser DLC for Dragon Age Inquisition look exciting, and features plenty of in-game footage but doesn't really tell us much about what's actually going to happen in the new content.
Trespasser will be set two years after the story told in Inquisition and acts as an epilogue to the tale. Here's the official blurb from the Dragon Age site:
Our final announcement today was of Trespasser, the final DLC for Inquisition. It's something we haven't tried before: an epilogue. Trespasser tells an entirely new story, set two years after the main game. The story explores what it's like to be a world-saving organization when the world no longer needs saving. It's a chance to meet and talk with old friends, to uncover a new threat, and ultimately decide the fate of the Inquisition you worked so hard to build. It might just contain hints about the future of Thedas, too.
Trespasser will release on September 8th.

Yeah, that's a good point. I realize that it's technically possible to play most DLC once you've beaten the game. I just don't like revisiting a game a few months after I've beaten it. Plus, some DLC really fits into certain parts of the story better than right at the end, especially if they include gear that can help in the core game.

BioWare tend to, at least, make their mid game DLC playable post completion

Now that I know there will be no more mid-game addons I can finally play the game! I've learned not to play games before all the campaign DLC is out, because then I have go back and play them again, and ain't nobody got time for that!
