Dontnod isn't Bankrupt, Not Yet Anyway

If there's one thing I’m an expert on its judicial reorganisation. Okay, I lied, but that's what Dontnod C.E.O Oskar Guilbert says that the struggling developer of Remember Me has entered, despite reports that they filed for bankruptcy yesterday (source is in French, good luck).

Guilbert had a little chat with Gamesindustry.biz and let them know about the situation:

"There is no bankruptcy, Dontnod is not in bankruptcy... We are in something called in France 'judicial reorganisation' which allows us to re-adapt our production pipeline to the new situation."

Now I don't live in France, and I’ve certainly never gone bankrupt, but a little research has shown that judicial reorganisation is one of the steps toward filing for bankruptcy in France, so maybe the skies aren't so bright and full of rainbows for Dontnod. Judicial reorganisation is pretty much something so that the company can keep doing their own things while bankruptcy procedures are ongoing, letting them keep their employees and hopefully allow them to pay off their debts before things get too bad.
