Gaming websites are rapidly filling with the news that Sega have reserved the domain name for dawnofwar3.com. Now I want to see another Dawn of War as much as anyone, I still play DoW1 regularly, and once I got over their exuberance with creating excessive DLC’s, I learned to love DoW2 too, but the fact remains that nothing yet is certain.

Reserving a domain name is one of the earliest things a company will do when creating a product, it may be that they have decided to go ahead with DoW3 or it may been that they are just thinking about deciding on it. Still, there is reason to hope, what with the enthusiasm over their upcoming game Total War: Warhammer, the experience of their ex THQ staff in making DoW games, plus the obvious enthusiasm that these rumours are gathering, all mean that Sega have more reasons than ever to go ahead with DoW3.
