Yo jurors! If you're up to date on the indie 4X gaming scene then you no doubt heard about 2013's Stardrive made by Zero Sum Games. Stardrive had a mixed reception but it looks like it had enough success for Zero Sum Games to work on the sequel, Stardrive 2!

Stardrive 2 is set to be a turn based 4X space strategy game with a launch date of April 9, 2015. Players will be able to design their own ships, discover new galaxies containing friends and foes, and of course engage in combat. The combat looks to be real time space combat and turn based ground combat.

Hopefully, Zero Sum can have this one polished on launch day and get a better reception than the first one. The first Stardrive showed tremendous potential but didn't quite ascend to the same heights as the hype. What say you jurors? Are you ready to fire up the stardrive and travel the stars?
